1. Company Details
Buxton Tree Care is a tree surgery business based in Tideswell, Derbyshire, providing tree care across the High Peak. For enquiries, contact info@buxtontreecare.co.uk.
2. Quotes and Pricing
- All quotes are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
- Quotes are based on the information provided at the time. If site conditions differ from those described, we reserve the right to revise the price before work begins.
3. Bookings and Cancellations
- Work is scheduled once a quote is accepted and a convenient time agreed.
- Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to change or cancel an appointment. Late cancellations may incur a call-out charge to cover travel and reserved time.
- We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to circumstances outside our control, with as much notice as possible.
4. Workmanship
- All tree and hedge work is carried out to a professional standard in line with relevant industry guidance, including BS 3998 for tree work.
- Any defects in workmanship reported within a reasonable period will be put right free of charge, provided the trees, hedges or site have not been altered or affected by factors outside our control.
5. Site, Access and Waste
- You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the trees or hedges to be worked on, and to make us aware of any hazards such as underground services, overhead cables, or protected trees.
- Unless agreed otherwise, all arisings (branches, logs and clippings) are cleared and disposed of responsibly. Timber can be left stacked on site if you would prefer to keep it.
6. Payment
- Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept bank transfer and cash. Card payments may be arranged by prior agreement.
- Late payment may delay any further work or follow-up visits until the outstanding balance is settled.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out. We are not liable for any indirect losses, including loss of business, arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
8. Website Use
This website is provided for information purposes. We take reasonable care to keep it accurate and up to date, but cannot guarantee that all information is complete or current at all times.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
